On September 11, 2019, the Finker-Frenkel Family Foundation hosted its second annual World Leadership Forum, which featured a discussion on U.S-Mexico relations from former Mexican president Felipe Calderón.

President Calderón spoke on trade, immigration and climate change, educating the audience on the complexity surrounding the United States’ relationship with Mexico and highlighting the importance of sustaining trade and commerce for both countries’ economies. President Calderón also discussed pressing environmental threats, explaining why all human beings need to be partners and work together to fight climate change.

Held at the University of Miami Business School, the Finker-Frenkel World Leadership Forum brings world leaders to Miami to inspire and exchange ideas with students, faculty, alumni and community leaders. By facilitating dialogue on key issues that affect our global society, the forum aims to foster understanding and academic engagement across international borders. We are honored to be a part of this remarkable event and look forward to learning from future participants in the Finker-Frenkel World Leadership Forum.
